FULL NAME-Thomas Jonathan Jackson
Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson was in some famous wars and battles like the Mexican-American War and in the Civil War and he was in the battle of Bull Run or Manasses. On May 2, 1863, Jackson was accidentally shot by friendly fire at the 18th North Carolina Infantry Regiment. At a war hospital on the war grounds Jackson's arm was amputated. On May 4, Jackson was transported to another field hospital in Guinea Station, Virginia. He died at that hospital of multiple complications on May 10, 1863 at the age of 39. His last words were "Let us cross over the river and rest under the shade of trees".
